Only Temporary unfolds as a brief gathering shaped by light, time, and presence. The exhibition brings together works that shift, dissolve, or exist only for a limited duration.
This concept is to resist permanence and inviting attention to what cannot be held.
Somewhere between intervention and coexistence, the artworks hover in an ambiguous space. At times they might be appearing parasitic, at others in quiet sync with their surroundings. Visitors are invited to encounter them intuitively: to stumble upon, to observe, and to question.
This is not a fixed moment, but a passing one. A shared experience shaped by change, perception, and the act of letting go. As daylight fades, so does the opening The event follows a natural rhythm, ending with the disappearance of light.
"Ainult ajutine" kujutab endast koosviibimist,

May 11th
13:00 Collective cushion making workshop
Instructions, materials, and tools will be provided. The cushions created during the workshop will be used to build a cosy reading nook for a library to be fitted into the tent.
The library will remain accessible throughout the programme of Rehearsals for Solidarity. Everyone is invited to explore its contents for quiet encounters and playful exploration.
16:00 PERFORMANCE
"OOOcarina" by artist Ming Zhu. This performance invites you to slow down and attune. To consider your own breath, your body, and the ground beneath you. Come as you are. Listen, rest, and enter a shared space of resonance.
May 13th
12:00 Mending & washing. Centred around the notion of care, the space within and around the tent, the museum's "backyard" becomes activated through a shared act of washing and mending. This leads to the formation of a clothing line. Garments are hung on a laundry line, forming a temporary display in the courtyard. Visitors are warmly invited to contribute their own work of everyday clothing, also becoming authors in this evolving collective composition.
19:00 Football. After dinner let's play a modified football game taking place on the small hill by the courtyard. The game will be an exercise of teamwork, working together to move the ball uphill.
May 18th
13:00 TENT Raadio: New week starts with a brand new concept TENT Raadio. The radio show consists of interviews, experimental sound pieces, performance, thinkpieces,
advertisement and of course radio hosting.
TENT Raadio will be available for streaming online at https://oh.eka-gd-ma.ee/
May 19th
12:00 Zine making. By combining texts, drawings and photographs formed throughout the program, a zine will be made to conclude the experience of the Rehearsals for Solidarity programme.
16:00 Collective cooking. Cooking a recipe where everyone takes an equal part in chopping the ingredients. That means: everyone who is there chops for example one onion, one carrot and one piece of garlic. All the chopped ingredients go into a pot together. Many small portions make up a big meal! We'll eat and enjoy the meal together!

🗼⛓️ BEACON PROJECT FEATURE: 'Prismatic Trespassing' by Éric-Olivier Thériault (@sprotch.plof ). For Nocturne 2025: GROUND, curated by Marite Kuus (@kuus.6 ).
Prismatic Trespassing is a sculptural installation built with a variety of reclaimed chain-link fence—some rescued from a former DIY skatepark, some removed from areas where fences have been double layered, some abandoned, some found by chance in rough condition.
Éric-Olivier Thériault is a Franco-Canadian visual artist of Acadian descent currently based in Tallinn, Estonia to pursue his graduate studies in Contemporary Art. With a BFA from NSCAD University, his work explores the artifacts of our contemporary world. Drawing from the ideas of the Readymade, Arte Povera and Nicolas Bourriaud’s theory of postproduction, his approach to art is characterized as pathetic, whimsical, and performative. The objects and installations he creates are inspired by the street, its structures and its discards, and by the circus, its theatricality and its humour, while embodying a sense of societal critique.
🫶 Thank you to Will Baker (@willbake.r ), the Halifax Regional Municipality (@hfxmoments ) and Armour Group for helping to make this Beacon project possible.

To begin this new chapter at @eka_estonian_academy_of_arts as a first-year student enrolled in @eka_maca , last week I presented the documentation of a booth installation originally showcased at Almagame: NSCAD 2024 Ceramic Exhibition. I Am for an Art that is Poor but Rich in Meaning reflects on modern plastic consumption, displaying various ceramic pieces that transform banal, machine-made objects into handmade forms—revealing the organic properties of clay while undermining the logic of mass production. The presentation was well received, and I am eager to become part of this new community. For friends back home who might not have known yet, this marks the start of an exciting new journey for me here in Estonia. Photo by Jaw-Hyun Cho
A spot of sunlight a representation of sunset without a landscape somehow an extension of the sun itself.
Dis-moi ce qui se passe ?
Something’s on the wall a repetitive pattern, a background.
It faces a landscape that never changes. The wallpaper too unchanged.
The daylight spirit sits at the tip of a wharf.
For a brief moment less than two minutes, I believe
Une dernière réflexion sur le sujet, monsieur ?
tiptoed concentration.
Éveil d’esprit just before the dark.
It is at this time
of evening the sun disappears again.
Non ! Ne… non, non !
It is the time of day it appears again in that room.
Jour après jour, et ce durant l’année entière.
As daylight fades the oval silhouette leaves the same way it emerged.
And the wharf stands still stands still waiting.
You are here exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Mon océan, te voilà.
Some of you might recognize the remnants of this piece from the floor of a stairwell near you! I recently came across a term coined by Dutch artist Helmut Smits: Lazy-Graffiti. It reminded me of a piece I created during my BFA—a work I was a bit hesitant to share at the time. But hey, here’s to giving it a try now (I might delete this later). Here’s a look at the process:
Covered by authority the following day, 2023.
Spray can, Clamp, Wood, Fishing wire
Two minutes of spray paint directly onto the floor with a standard aerosol can, inspired by Statements by Lawrence Weiner, 1968.
I want to carry your heavy concrete backpack
I want to look at you dancing against the wind
I want to dress up and dress down and pretend we are stars,
I want to make noises with you and record it
I want you to tell me about Katy Hessel’s book.
I want you as you are.
I want more of it.

The Rythme Roller is a project created with myself, @willbake.r & @sprotch.plof
…
Together we made this crazy bike DJ station, designed and fabricated from recycled and reclaimed materials.
With its delayed premiere at the @hfxbicyclemusicfestival , the goal was to inspire creative bike use while fostering community and music and promoting local bike infrastructure.
This is definitely some of the most fun I’ve had making something in a while and it was a real treat to work with such great pals.
The Rythme Roller is already rolling around town and is open to any performer who might want to use it for a set. DM if interested!
