As we wrap up another year that seemed to go in a blink, it’s that time to say an another massive THANK YOU to all the legends out there in my world. Two cakes at golden hour. TWO. Tab & Tim looked at one wedding cake and said that is simply not enough. So alongside the raspberry situation, the bridesmaids made a giant homemade tiramisu. A GIANT one. (It is my favourite dessert. I was not okay.) What followed was one of the most glorious and joyful fifteen minutes of the entire day. Guests queuing up for tablespoons of tiramisu hand-fed directly into their mouths by the groom. Their dog Luna fully locked onto the cake situation with zero shame and maximum commitment. Golden hour pouring over all of it like the universe knew exactly what it was doing. This is what weddings are for, actually. You & forever – Lindsay & Max eloped a few weeks back and it was all time. I helped these guys dream up and plan their elopement in Queenstown, and from the day I caught up with them over the first video call, I knew the vision was strong and we we’re gonna have a good time. It’s always special getting to know each couple in the lead up to a day – as partners and individuals; and what’s important to them for the day they each marry their best friend – hanging out, just the two of them. The vision: incredible views, calm & relaxed - with a potent dose of fun & adventure together. January 2026 off to a cracking start with A&B for their heli elopement in Wānaka — and the most lovely feedback from these two after receiving their first previews 🥹 Kate, One word: WOW. You captured every emotion and moment and just everything our day was. We’ve sent about 20 of the photos to friends and family and the common theme is how happy and in love we look. People really felt like they were there on the day after us telling them and then seeing the photos! Some of my friends even commented how they could be in a magazine…! Yourself and Ned made us feel so comfortable and at ease it really showed in the photos. I know we told you guys we were pretty go with the flow and would follow your lead, my word it really worked out for us! We are in awe with what you have done! How will there be any more!!!
