the amount of support we have received in the past week has been so insane - we did not expect any of this! we began thinking it would be a slow & hard process to even get started at all & now you’re all here enjoying our drinks & goodies & it’s like nothing we’ve ever experienced before! we were definitely made for this! this is the most fun we’ve ever had 🙂‍↔️❤️ — we started this project in hopes to get to know our neighbors better! we posted a flyer in our apt complex’s laundry room just opening up our doors for anyone who wanted a drink or a treat / we are all going through tough times in one way or another, we just wanted to alleviate stress and form community somehow & now suddenly we are here & we couldn’t be more grateful, we are working towards something we always wanted! — my mom has been a passionate cook for our whole lives and it’s so sick to get to work on this project along side her and hear all the positive feedback on what she’s been making! something I’ve always known, she’s truly a star! We are trying our best to showcase her because she doesn’t get the credit she deserves! She is a hard working - tough willed & kind hearted human! te queremos mucho, ama! — we genuinely feel like a lot of us want to feel a sense of community and to know our neighbors & we just don’t know where to start - sometimes something simple like inviting your neighbor over for coffee can get the ball rolling — i hope this project becomes the big, beautiful thing that we want it to be because WEST ANAHEIM IS SPECIAL! 🫶🏽🌀

In her free time, Yuri enjoys traveling, digging for records, collecting books, dancing and learning a new language — and now hosting Santa Ana’s Silent Book Club. ☝🏽At Silent Book Club, there’s no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books...it’s BYOBook. Our events are free and support local businesses. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they’re reading, and settle in for an hour or so of sustained silent reading. hello! just want to say thank you for catching us at our pop-ups * although we stopped selling from home we’ve been lucky enough to continue doing what we love because of our community and word of mouth * we work really hard to provide you with some top quality drinks. everything is scratch-made using fresh ingredients * & in return we also support local businesses through the stuff we purchase to make our products * no ifs, ands or buts; we do it for the love of the game & to truly work towards creating a safe space where we can come together as a community. The end goal for us is having a brick & mortar where we can continue to do this and more + more + more in an area of West Anaheim that is constantly overlooked.
