Started to try edit this but just gonna post the whole thing…….definitely an experience I will remember the rest of my life! The orca did not in fact take my tuna at any point, and I’m well aware if it wanted to it would have had it. It was a 134 lb tuna that I hit high in the back and had its full power. When the orca was diving on it the tuna was taking off and dragging me under. I’m not the most excitable guy, but this was such a surreal experience that it definitely took me outside my element 🤯…..and yes I apologized to @nofojoe for screaming at him 😂 @biigwaterguy @nofojoe @spearpro_international @spearchannel

Day 5 was hands down the craziest day I’ve ever had on the water. @biigwaterguy kicked things off with the biggest fish of the trip—which had me fired up. We stay competing. Not long after, we rolled up on an insane feeding frenzy. I dropped through the white water and immediately saw tuna blasting by. No hesitation—long shot—and my float took off. Game on. Mid-fight, the boat starts yelling: ORCA. I look over… 20 feet away. Just cruising past me. It swam over to @nofojoe and came within 2 feet of him, sizing him up… then turned toward my tuna. What followed was chaos. Multiple dives on my fish. My tuna fighting hard. At one point I thought the orca had taken it. Eventually the tuna chose us over the orca. We got it to the boat… and the orca kept circling. Absolute bucket list moment getting to watch it underwater. Fish went 134 lbs—not enough to top Vlad—so back to the grind. The action continued, water turned green, light was fading, gear acting up… windows were tight. Last dive of the day, I finally connected. Float ripped. Submerged 30–40 feet. Full battle. With help from the crew, I landed my PB 182 lbs. I shot 4 fish for the trip 55/134/167/182 @spearpro_international @spearchannel

An unreal amount of time and effort went into landing a fish of this caliber, but as fired up as I am, there is still work to be done. It’s very rewarding to start to see the process pay off and it only gets me even more fired up about landing some true giants. Hard to find the right crew to do it with, I’m very fortunate to be able to dive with my guys @biigwaterguy & @nofojoe . Thanks to @spearpro_international & @spearamerica for providing top notch gear to make it happen!

I was there when this happened, I heard his screams. I wanted/tried to help but wasn’t able to do anything of any consequence. These incompetent and unqualified pieces of shit broke this man’s window and pulled him out of his car in the middle of 4th Plain. They proceeded to sit him in the middle of the road and then ran over his fucking legs. I have no words to describe how mad I am right now. They refused to identify themselves and thought it was funny to talk shit to me when I told them to remove their masks. How do we hold them accountable? Prior to this trip I’d spent countless hours searching for halibut in the Pacific Northwest and had only ever seen one fish. So when I got the opportunity to go to Norway it was a no brainer for me. While it may seem like a simple task in the halibut rich fjords of Norway, landing a giant halibut on this trip proved to be any but easy. Huge thanks to @biigwaterguy & @spearofjords for grinding this thing out with me to the last day 🙏 @spearpro_international @spearchannel

After watching two monster halibut swim away in 6 days of hard diving, I was feeling a tremendous amount of pressure to land one of these monsters on day 7……after all that’s why we came to Norway. I had been replaying the previous scenarios in my head over and over and was perhaps at times not the most pleasant I’ve ever been. To push as hard as we all did and to be able to land this fish on the first drop of the last day gave me a feeling that is hard to explain. Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this trip. A huge thanks to @biigwaterguy @spearofjords @chefelijahholland @sailnslay #redzodiacgang

Wild footage from an insane day off the coast of Washington…….seems so odd, definitely didn’t feel like we were in the PNW on this one. @biigwaterguy shooting his first ever albacore tuna while a blue shark is lurking. #spearfishing #freediving #washingtoncoast #albacoretuna #pnw @white_cap_cowboy @spearpro_international @spearchannel @killshotlife

Keep your dive knife towards the fish not your leg! Don’t get complacent and respect the power of these fish and how quickly things can happen. All things I know but I wanted to get back on the fish quickly and made a mistake that could have been much worse. Thanks to the crew for patching me back up…..back to business today! @biigwaterguy @helloimchester @gilmanjohn @spearpro_international #spearfishing #freediving #bluefintuna

Dove hard for 3 days straight without a single halibut sighting. Desperation turned me into a big rod and reel guy 🎣…….my pb halibut @ 68” which the chart says is 165 lbs. Thanks @cast_alaska and @biigwaterguy for letting me tag along. #alaska #halibut #rodandreel #pnw
