After a slow start during a overnight trip we swung by a number I hadn’t hit In quite some time even though it was the dead middle of the day immediately upon hopping in I spotted a 40-50lb cubera sunning at 50’ and pointed it out to @coleparkerfishes he quickly did a breathe up and slowly sunk down to the fish I watched it turn and come right in to check him out, cole plugged it right in the snout and started putting heat on the fish. On his ascent I dropped down to put a second shot through the gill plate shortly after Cole got his hands on the fish and boated his First ever and PB cubera at 47lbs! Cole spotted a second cubera on the drop so we quickly regrouped @1up1down_spearfishing dropped next and put eyes on the second cubera below him I got ready to do a dive and eased down to 88’ the fish came up from roughly 110’ and presented a broadside shot I took it and my @m85mfg punched through both gill plates. I put heat on the fish and thanks to great team work and buddy diving both cuberas didn’t get taxed and made for this epic double up! The second fish went 45lbs happy to share this epic moment with great company! Everything caught on video and will be posted soon!
