Our Sea & Space Exhibition Mission is complete! 🚀🌊
In the heart of London, thousands visited our exhibition at the @piccadillylights venue from Easter Sunday through Earth Day. The giant screen showcased captivating content reminding us that the Earthrise photo from #Apollo8 inspired us to start Earth Day, while stunning art by @petrocsesti and @platformearthuk that was the heart of the exhibition , along with historic spacesuits from Apollo 11 and by the @spaceforartfoundation , enhanced the experience.
The grand finale was a summit and awards dinner and Piccadilly screen takeover outside uniting Astronauts, ocean storytellers, and business leaders. Together, we explored solutions for our planet’s challenges.
On Earth Day’s 55th Anniversary, the message is clear - we live on an ocean planet in space, and it’s crucial to safeguard all life on Earth and in our oceans. Let’s unite to drive progress using the technology designed for space exploration to solve the world’s greatest challenges and protect our oceans.

The 4th Annual Spacefest at Politehnica Bucharest has officially begun! Day one was fantastic - a full house in the auditorium with many enthusiastic students in the audience. At the Sea & Space takeover in Piccadilly Circus an Earth Day moment that brought ocean science and space exploration into one shared conversation, the message was simple: there is only one system, and it needs protecting.
Across three days, the city became a platform. From the Piccadilly Lights showcasing Earthrise and ocean imagery, to live conversations with astronauts, scientists and storytellers, Sea & Space connected the dots between orbit and ocean floor and why both matter.
For @10percentfortheocean , this is exactly why we show up.
Because real impact sits at the intersection of science, storytelling and funding. Because satellite technology is now tracking marine ecosystems in real time. And because collaboration across disciplines, industries and communities, is how we move from awareness to action.

So grateful for this crew. We met four years ago when I produced the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 16 at the Science Museum in London. Tamsin Raine and Matt Porteous came on board to help document the celebration. And then we realized that we are all on the same mission to make a better world even if we come from different backgrounds and disciplines.
We will continue to showcase Sea and Space in a way that inspires the public about how interconnected everything is. When we see the Earth from space it’s very clear that we live on an ocean planet in space. All living creatures rely on the ocean to live. We need to take care of it.

Earth Day is the time to remind everyone that we all need to care about the ocean and all ecosystems everywhere. We all need the ocean. Every second breath we take is because of the ocean. The planet will survive without humans. But we cannot survive without a healthy ocean. So let’s do all we can to help it thrive.
