MOON is happiest when we are moving, taking action, and doing something. So, @space_mag 08 is what we managed to do in 27 days. This is not a magazine that is trying to be iconic or even unmissable. It’s an example of teamwork – a hopeful creative effort, putting our hearts and energy into something positive and meaningful. We hope you like it.

LAUNCHING JUNE 19 IN PARIS.
It all began in Amsterdam, not long ago. We got chatting with 1 Granary’s Olya Kuryshchuk about the state of the fashion industry and how tough it is for indie designers. Many are struggling; some have gone bankrupt—not because they can’t cut it or aren’t talented enough, but because of external factors. They’ve suffered blow after blow, from supply chain upheavals to a messed-up wholesale system. We went back to Copenhagen feeling depressed.
However, within a day of that conversation, including a good chat with casting director Emma Matell, we got into action, and a plan was hatched to publish a tribute to indie labels. We reached out to photographer friends—new and old—and the shoots started. One month later, Space 08 just returned from print, featuring Ester Manas, Paolina Russo, Johanna Parv, Soulland, Sunflower, and Yolanda Zobel.
