💿 Remízek got Remixed! 📀 Exactly one year after my music debut Remízek Music comes Remix Remízek, a remix album with which some of my favorite artists & music friends took the effort to reconstruct and reimagine the songs from the original piece. This comes both as a sort of a celebration of the anniversary and a symbolic closing of the remízek era. Im super happy about all the different approaches that spread over this diverse 10-track piece. It’s sooo thrilling to hear the tiny fragments of familiar sounds you spend a significant period of time with being repurposed, transformed, recontextualized once again for beautiful new compositions. The biggest shoutouts and thanks go to all the participants for the amazing work they put into these tracks.❤️ And of course none of this would be complete without the master chief @ancestral.visi0n 🫡 Full album out on August the 4th. 'Remízek Music' by sorbitol drops is up for pre-order 🗾 Out in full on August 4th. Produced with the spatiality of a six-channel audio instalation in mind, sorbitol drops guides us on an excursion into the haven of his resourceful sound palette, portraying a vibrant place existing almost comically on it’s own. The term ‘remízek’ is used to describe a special type of grove – an unnaturally planted assemblage of a so-called forest, almost ironically dragged-and-dropped to exist surrounded by any kind of agricultural landscape. When entering such a grove from an open field, there is no gradual transformation from one biocenosis to another, creating a situation where a radical switch between two completely different worlds is just a few footsteps away. While traversing this cute but absurd tableau of the audible forrest oasis, stripped down of it’s original sprawl, we promptly find ourselves under a pressure of a constant neurotic crackle, harrowing creaky moaning, all participating in recurrent ambiguous breakdowns. Naive melodies buzz out from echoes of the interactions of temporary inhabitants of the environment, revealing their needs in territorial contradictions. At times, these melodies merge into a playful conversation of camaraderie; at other times, they spiral into wordless-but-loud dramas and overall tensions of sharing a limited space in which they are forced to coexist. ☛ SWINE PREMIERE ☛ Check out the @sorbitoldrops remix of @opatuv_modul track "Scarecrow" from his EP Phawn on @fungus____________collective 【 Opatův Modul’s EP is out on the 20th of March on Fungus Records 】 All the tracks on Phawn EP have emerged this past year from Opatův Modul’s live performing practice, an integral part which has brought forth a clear evolution and crystallisation of their sound and research. With backdrops of 90’s DnB, the project aims to bring back old school genres closer to where they see fit, but straying away from the obvious simultaneously. This tendency is backed up by their view of drum & bass being tainted and devalued by its post-2000’s era. Visually, the project is led by artist Matouš Ondra, who melts layers of organic structures and video feeds into one source live during performances. In 2024, she was personally chosen by Björk to perform at Full Moon Night in Smekkleysa. In 2025, she moves between sweat-soaked basement parties and the Iceland Airwaves festival. Her debut EP fyi was released on the Marvaða label. CYBER Icelandic band CYBER is hitting the road with their demure Tour de Success. They bring a remix of the teenage anthem ARENA (from the album SAD :’()). Bratty alternative electronic pop with a strong, energetic live performance. sorbitol drops Producer and visual artist working with experimental electronics, field recordings, and an audiovisual collage approach. Music as a tense space full of contrasts, structures, and raw materials. His debut album Remízek music was released in summer 2024. Currently, he focuses on dynamic rhythms that constantly surprise. She is moving toward a bolder, more energetic rap-rooted sound for 2026. 𝒆𝒍𝒋𝒆𝒍 In her solo music, eljel relies mainly on figurative lyrics and minimalist but evocative vocal arrangements; her work is influenced by her classical piano training and stays abroad, where she was inspired by Irish sean-nós, among other things. His work varies between a large spectrum of styles, combining cinematic, club and ambient music. His concepts deal with themes inspired by fiction, memory and cultural artefacts. He has participated in various festivals in Europe like Roskilde, CTM, Rewire, Primavera Sound, Unsound, Nuits Sonores, Lost Music, Lunchmeat, Insomnia. ABADIR is part of SVBKVLT @svbkvlt roster, and he previously released his music on many other labels. ✒️ ᔕOᖇᗷITOᒪ ᗪᖇOᑭᔕ 🖋 @sorbitoldrops is a music producer and visual artist based in Prague. He focuses primarily on audiovisual multimedia installations combining video and sound and the production of experimental electronic music. Apart from his own artistic practice, he curates the music program of Trať festival. His debut album Remízek Music, which came out in summer 2024 on the Gin&Platonic @gin_and_platonic label, is based on collage-like composing of processed samples consisting mostly of field recordings or studio recordings of various natural materials and musical instruments. The result is a confluence of different musical expressions and shapes forming stories full of tension and contrasts. ✒️ TᖇYᑕE 🖋️ @tryce__e is a Berlin-based producer and DJ whose music drifts between cinematic melancholy and night-coded rhythm. Since the release of his debut EP DreamDisc (2023)—a cloud of reprocessed EDM fragments and dream-state textures—he has performed across Europe, from clubs to museums. Forever drawn to the emotional pull of melody, TRYCE shapes immersive sound worlds where memory and motion blur, underpinned by a unique pop sensibility. Lately, he has been producing for other artists and expanding into soundtrack work.
