Come with me as I enjoy my experience at the @bts.bighitofficial live @netflix show!
I had the privilege to be live in Seoul, South Korea to watch the BTS comeback performance with Netflix.
Not only did I witness history to a legendary night but also had the opportunity to watch the members perform six records I contributed to on their new album âARIRANGâ âSwimâ, âHooliganâ, âNormalâ, âAliensâ, âMerry Go Roundâ, & â2.0â
As a songwriter itâs always dope to see your work being performed and received live, even if you may not be the performer hearing your influence is something magical & Iâm glad I was able to share this moment with yall!
I wanna give a huge thank you @songcompwing for providing their platform & allowing me to share this experience with all of yall! If you havenât heard BTS new album I suggest you check it out!
Also keep streaming SWIM! đđŸ
This tax season, take advantage of the HITS Act, signed into law last July!
Independent artists, record producers, and songwriters can now deduct up to $150,000 in sound recording and production expenses in the year the costs are incurred, rather than amortizing them over the life of the recording.
Eligible creators can claim this deduction directly on their 2025 tax return, putting more resources back into making music.

The songs you can't shake? They started with women like these.
Today, on International Women's Day, we're honoring the women of the Songwriters & Composers Wing Committee. We see you. We celebrate you. We look up to you.
Tag a female songwriter in the comments who deserves their flowers.
As we kick off Music In Our Schools Month, weâre celebrating the moments and the mentors that shape every music journey.
Not every Grammy winnerâs story is the same, but thereâs always one person or turning point that made it possible. That uplifting voice when they were still trying to find their own. That push in the right direction when doubt set in.
We believe every young, aspiring musician deserves the opportunity to discover and nurture their gifts, no matter where they start or who they are. Thatâs why the Recording Academy is committed to championing music education at every stage.
You (yes, you) can share your story, too.
We want to hear it. Use this toolkit to tell your music education story. Maybe it was a band teacher who helped build your confidence. A piano teacher who taught you discipline. The floor is yours, just follow the instructions in the toolkit linked in our bio.
This Womenâs Month, we celebrate the women who have molded music, culture, and confidence. They spoke their truth, changed the game, and reminded us that our destiny is ours to shape.
From powerful, piercing vocals to quiet revolutions, women in music turn their songs into movements that challenge norms and spark lasting change. This month and beyond, we celebrate the voices that inspire us to dream bigger, stand taller, and take up space without apology. Hereâs to every woman finding her rhythm, owning her stage, and telling her own story.
We see you, sis.
As Black History Month concludes and Women's History Month begins, we spotlight our own @drchelseygreen , the first Black woman and youngest ever Chair of the Recording Academyâs Board. Her achievement marks real progress and reminds us thereâs more to do.
Dr. Green is a Billboard-charting artist, a talented violinist, an entrepreneur, and a Berklee College of Music professor. Sheâs built a career mixing artistry with action, always lifting up music creators and championing the next generation.
She calls her election âa reflection of my ancestorsâ prayers and sacrificesââand proof that leadership should celebrate the same diversity as the music world itself.
