This is the third and final song I recorded last year in Europe. It is also the oldest of these 3 songs. Less Than Friends was written in a time when I used to give second, third, and even fourth chances to people who had consistently proven that they didn’t really care about me. It is about wondering if next time, *maybe* it will be different. It has been a little over 3 years since I wrote this, and I have significantly grown in both character and songwriting skill. Regardless I hope you all enjoy it!

After a particularly nasty falling out with one of my best friends, I asked myself if I’m simply growing up, or if I’ve become jaded. This one is about slowly growing apart from my childhood friends and the boy I used to be. Every mistake I’ve made with people is a lesson that I’m trying to learn from. Shoutout to all the whimsical, fun-loving people who bring magic into my life.
