Introducing Time Summer 2026 Cover Star @jessicaennishill The @olympics gold medalist opened up about life in #Olympic retirement, her work through @wearejennis and being seen as a role model, and being a self-confessed watch lover as a long-time @OMEGA ambassador. It is rare to see an athlete as joyous in retirement as Ennis-Hill. As well as a highly positive family system, unlike many high-level competitors, Ennis-Hill chose her retirement, calling time on her career shortly after the 2016 Olympics, satisfied with her accomplishments. “I’d done all I wanted to do,” she says. “I was ready to retire. I knew I wanted another child and to just see what life brought. My son became my focus. I had even more to do.” This now includes interviewing people such as Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge and Paralympian Ade Adepitan on her Gold Minds podcast, but Ennis-Hill is most happy in family mode. These days, that involves games of paddle or doing a Saturday morning Parkrun with her daughter. Introducing Issue 16 Cover Star #AidanTurner, The actor of stage and screen discussed becoming a household name with his titular role in BBC’s revival of #Poldark he shared: “I still have a lot of fond memories of that show; I’m really proud of it.” He says he had no idea the show would become as huge as it did. “It certainly surprised me, the success of the show,” Turner reflects now. “We knew we were doing something that felt good. I felt the writing was always strong and aesthetically it looked great. But I was quite surprised when the first episode came out and we just got these huge ratings and then I thought very quickly that this may go on for some time.” The show was watched by over eight million people weekly in its first season and earned him British period drama heartthrob status on levels only previously matched by Colin Firth’s Mr Darcy. “The next five years of my life [were] carved out essentially and it sort of changes you a bit. Introducing Issue 16 Cover Star #AidanTurner, The actor of stage and screen discussed his current life on stage at the @nationaltheatre , becoming a household name with BBC’s revival of #Poldark, and his everlasting love for the theatre. Turner currently stars in Les Liaisons Dangereuses Vicomte de Valmont alongside the equally talented Lesley Manville and @MonicaBarbaro at the #NationalTheatre in London. “You finish the day and you’re absolutely physically and mentally exhausted,” he shared of the rehearsals. “It’s two hours [in length] and myself and Lesley hardly leave the stage at all and [we’re] telling the entire story from the very beginning to the very, very end. It’s very challenging and even with a couple of weeks to go, it still feels there’s a lot of work to do. Audemars Piguet and #Swatch have finally revealed what they have been cooking up in Switzerland. Crafted from bioceramic, the new @AudemarsPiguet x @Swatch #RoyalPop comes in 8 vibrant colourways, and two different styles: a lidless pocket watch with its crown at the 12 o’clock position and only hour and minute indications, and a ‘savonette’ (or, ‘hunter’ style pocket watch) with its crown at 3 o’clock and a small second indicator at the 6 o’clock position. Marilyn Monroe is known as one of the most glamorous movie stars in history and fans will now have the rare chance to own some of her own private jewellery when it comes up for auction. The jewellery comes from the estate of Norma and Hedda Rosten who were close friends of #MarilynMonroe in her lifetime. The auction, set to take place on June 1 via Heritage Auctions, is set up to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Monroe’s birth. Among the most striking items that are being put on the #auction block are a pair of triple hoop pendant earrings the actress wore when blowing a kiss to the camera in 1954. The resulting picture has since gone on to become one of the most iconic images of Monroe. The earrings have a set starting bid of $10,000. The late actor Matthew Perry was a noted collector of all things Caped Crusader and lots include a #Batman themed ping pong table, a cowl from #TheDarkKnight and large swathes of action figures. But the highlight of his Batman pieces is the watch he owned from 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. The piece is a collaboration between Memorigin and Warner Bros. and was released in conjunction with the film. A limited edition release, it’s a relatively large piece at 43mm and the dial includes the iconic Batman logo and the release date of the film. Perry is on record with how much he loved the watch, saying to GQ that the piece was his “favourite thing” and that he purchased it in a mall in Hong Kong.
