THREADS landed at @frauentheaterfestival 🌿 How does THREADS resonate with IF*TF topic of PERFORMING ECOFEMINIST? Here are some of our thoughts: ✨ THREADS as an Ecofeminist Practice On care, connection, and resonance THREADS is a site-specific, movement-based sound performance exploring the loss of connection within one’s community. From an ecofeminist perspective, it explores how loss and dislocation can become common ground to reimagine our relationships with people through sound and movement. THREADS is a space to rebuild connection, with slowness, with attention and care. A space, where acceptance replaces domination, commonality replaces isolation creating alternative ways to rethink a society. Nach ihrem Schauspielstudium an der Accademia del Teatro Stabile del Veneto trat sie mit Sasha Waltz & Guests, am HAU – Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin sowie bei PACT Zollverein auf. Als FLINTA+-Künstlerinnen verankern Alina und Elisabetta ihre Arbeit in Verbindung mit der LGBTQIA+-Community. Alina erforscht als nicht-binäre Person in der Soundkunst queere Sichtbarkeit und strukturelle Gewalt durch räumliche und politische Komposition. One year since we jumped into FREE-FALLING. A performance about discomfort, power and desire. People who saw it described the effect as almost cinematic, bordering on the surreal. Concept & Performers: Elisabetta Solin and Marcos Angela Dapas Presented in the frame of Open Studio:Stage, a platform for the creative and diverse potential of Berlin’s Dance and Performance Community. We are pleased to share with you that our “THREADS” will land to Atelier N.70 Platform für neue Kunst und Choreographie at @pact_zollverein . THREADS is a movement-based sound performance that explores resonance as spacial and physical presence, creating visual and acoustic experience. Bodies and cello form the core, creating a unified installation with audience partecipation.This project delves into how tension shapes systems finding solutions throw creative interconnection and what ethical movement means. THREADS (beginning) I deeply cherish it. Bodies connect through stretched threads, shaping movement and interactions. Hope to continue working on this soon.
