Hot pan. Cool handle. No dramas. š„
Our handles donāt go feral on the stovetop, and thatās no accident. The long, ergonomic shape and those clever vented neck gaps kick heat away before it creeps up to your hand. The skinny connection point limits heat transfer, and the extra distance from the flame keeps things civil during normal cooking.
In short?
Your steakās sizzling.
Your handās sweet.
Thatās Aussie engineering doing its thing. š¦šŗ
Thanks to @jordymerry for properly putting our pan to the test.
We had to release the PG version⦠because some of the testing got a little wild.
It copped a fair bit in the name of content.
And itās still cooking like nothing happened.
Wrought iron is durable. It moves.
It didnāt snap or crack ā like cast iron can.
Thatās the beauty of a single-piece, malleable design. It flexes and keeps going.
Engineered in Australia.
Tested by Jordan.
Built to last.
We sold a SH*TLOAD of Aussie pans last yearā¦..ā

Now letās show you how to actually use one šā
ā
Youāre holding solid wrought iron - 100% Aussie made, built to last generations.ā
ā
So hereās how to make mates with it:ā
ā
Step 1: Give it a rinse. Not ācos itās dirty... just to say gāday.ā
Step 2: Donāt panic about the patchy surface. Thatās the seasoning. Itāll evolve every time you cook.ā
Step 3: Use fat. LOTS of it. Start with bacon. Then cook more bacon.ā Mmm Bacon š¤¤ā
Step 4: No tomatoes.....just yet ā acidic stuff can mess with new seasoning. Hold the bolognese for now.ā
Step 5: Low and slow is the go. Donāt blast it. Itās not a drag race.ā
Step 6: Let the food release when itās ready. If it sticks, itās telling you to wait.ā
ā
Stick with it... and this pan will outlive you. No joke.ā

Final hours to break the cycle! āØāØIt's the final hours of our Kitchen Tools campaign, and thereās never been a better time to retire that throwaway drawer for good.
Ā
Plastic tools arenāt built for heat. Daily cooking and dishwashers take their toll.
Ā
They stain, hold odours, potentially harbour bacteria, then show the damage: melting, warping, cracking and flaking.
Ā
And once they start breaking down, they end up in one of two places: in your food, or in landfill.
Ā
Upgrade to clean, one-piece stainless steel and titanium tools made to be kept ā not replaced.
Ā
Campaign ends this tonight, Thursday, 14 May 2026. Don't miss special launch pricing!

Peri peri yellow beans, hazelnut brown butter and horseradish
These yellow beans have been pimped up with @threeblueducks peri peri seasoning and a hazelnut brown butter which makes anything and everything taste better!
Weāve been using @solidteknics pans in our venues for years. Theyāre unbeatable for durability and heat retention!
Ingredients
Handful of yellow beans, top and tailed
1tbs @threeblueducks peri peri seasoning
1tbs extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt flakes
Hazelnut brown butter:
125g unsalted butter
¼ cup roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
Handful of fresh parsley, roughly chopped
Zest a juice of half a lemon
Sea salt flakes
Freshly grated horseradish to serve
Start with the hazelnut brown butter. Heat the butter for a few minutes until itās foaming and goes a nut-brown color. Stir through the hazelnuts followed by the lemon juice, zest and the chopped fresh parsley. Season with some salt flakes, then keep warm and set aside.
For the beans, pour the olive oil into a hot pan followed by the peri peri seasoning and the beans. Stir the beans making sure they are well coated in the oil and seasoning.
Transfer the pan to a super hot oven for a few minutes until they get some good color and have slightly softened. Season with a touch of salt.
Scatter the beans on your serving plate, top with a decent amount of the hazelnut brown butter and generously grate over some fresh horseradish.

Look, Iām not here to scare you, but if youāre trying to create a healthier home for your family, the kitchen is honestly where Iād start. And yep, that includes what youāre cooking IN.
Most non-stick pans release toxic fumes when heated (hello PFAS and PTFE) - not exactly what we want floating around while weāre making the kidsā scrambled eggs, right? Even some stainless steel cookware can leach heavy metals if itās not made properly.
This is why Iāve fallen head over heels for @solidteknics . Their pans are made from premium Australian stainless steel with ZERO nasty coatings. Theyāre built like tanks (seriously, these things will outlive us all), heat evenly, and get better with age. Plus theyāre completely non-toxic and oven-safe to 500°C.
I love that I can cook with confidence knowing Iām not adding any unwanted chemicals to our family meals. Sometimes the simple swaps make the biggest difference.
The pan I actually reach for every morning š³
Iāve had my @solidteknics AUS-ION for years but I only recently got the 20cm frypan and honestly itās changed my breakfast game. My 30cm is incredible but four eggs and some spinach in that thing is just overkill.
This size is perfect. No toxic coatings, made in Australia, and it just gets better the more you use it.
If youāre looking for cookware that actually lasts, this is it!
