Sunny days home in Stockholm with family, laughter, and much needed time together. After two heart surgeries, having my dad healthy and back at the table again feels like everything. Long walks, conversations about life, art and design, and all the Swedish things we missed, lax, wallenbergare, kanelbullar, and the simple joy of being together 🇸🇪
An evening with family and friends, shaped by the legacy of Drottning Kristina Augusta, one of the most intellectually progressive figures of seventeenth-century Europe.
Her vision extended far beyond ceremony. She championed philosophy, science, literature, theater, education, and the arts, expanding libraries, supporting scholarship, and cultivating a court centered around learning and international exchange. Her court became a meeting place for some of Europe’s great thinkers, including René Descartes.
What remains inspiring is her openness to ideas, the way she brought together science, culture, education, and the arts as part of a broader intellectual and humanistic vision. A reminder of the value of learning, dialogue, and cultural exchange across generations and borders.
Impromptu photos in no particular order…
A collective consciousness moving throughout the gallery at The Moore during “A Theory of Remains,” guided by sound, movement, and headphone meditation. Led by the luminous energy of @andreaminski we drifted between stillness and rhythm.
The installation unfolded as a shared space for reflection, connection, and presence.
Thank You
@drinkradiate for the kombucha

Apogee, a sculptural installation.
A moment held at its limit. A space entered like a cave. Stalactite and stalagmite forms emerging within the space.
Pendulums suspended in motion.
Reaching their furthest point, meeting in apogee.
A moment stretched to its limit.
Before gravity pulls everything back.
Constructed surfaces hold embedded fragments,
materials shifting between the synthetic and the organic. Gilded, they catch light not as permanence, but as a mark of presence.
Reflecting light, while revealing fracture.
Even here, something holds, a moment of alignment, where tension becomes form.

Final days of A Theory of Remains, on view through April 28.
Walk through the exhibition with me.
Where fragments accumulate as material memory, holding the tension between permanence and transformation.

“A Theory of Remains” considers what endures after systems falter, what matter holds, records, and carries forward. At its center, Apogee suspends reclaimed domestic and coastal materials in tension, where gilded and weathered surfaces register time, gravity, and accumulation.
Across the exhibition, cast-off materials become sites of memory, bearing traces of environmental precarity, political histories, and collective responsibility. Through transformation, these fragments emerge not as aftermath, but as active carriers of meaning, shaping how the present is understood.

A braiding circle with Danie of @journeyofabraid , within A Theory of Remains by @soledadlowestudio —unfolding as a quiet ritual of care, conversation, and the passing of knowledge from one set of hands to another.
What is carried forward. What is remembered. What remains—inside The Gallery at The Moore.
A moment of resonance across the exhibition.
Within A Theory of Remains, surrounding the installation Pendulum of Apogee, a sound activation unfolded with Noelia Madiedo and Namo Sanctuary.
Vibration moved through form, architecture, and body, shifting the work from an object of perception into an environment of presence, a shared field of listening shaped by time, space, and attention.
Truly grateful for this experience and collaboration.
