LIMINAL screened at Dover Street Market as part of the Student Film Category, and it was such an experience to be surrounded by films that were inventive, visually alive, and creatively resonant in so many different ways.
I’m super grateful for the conversations, the support, and the generosity of everyone I met throughout the festival.
Liminal explores the everyday feeling of being in-between by offering moment to consciously experience what we usually live through unintentionally. As a fashion film, Liminal treats fashion as lived self-presentation in transit, where silhouette, posture, and shifting light shape how a body is read in public space.

Happy to finally share this ! Some scenes from the short film I co-directed almost two years ago
A night-shift grocer daydreams about escaping his routine life by going on a date with a woman named Clem. However, this attempt to escape creates a new cycle, as the constant return to reality brought by customers gives rise to a new, unending loop.
"Dream Job," explores how a grocer's efforts to escape the monotony of his night shift through imagination align with Camus's concept of the "absurd." The film aims to delve into the human pursuit of meaning in a meaningless world, illustrating how even our imagined escapes can turn into routines, trapping us in the very cycles we're trying to escape.
