Meet Yuanzi, the independent ceramic artist behind yy.pottery. Founded in Shanghai in 2022, her studio brings to life creations defined by soft, flowing lines, low-saturation glazes, and palm-fitting curves. As a foodie myself, I'm allllwaysss inspired by the food I eat. At home, at bistros, even at fancy restaurants, I joke with food, I play with food(I will use mine and your edamame to draw a cat). When I first made these colors, I just loved the colors individually. Once I spread out the plates, my foodie mind thought, the spiraling pattern reminded of milkshake!
