The second single from the upcoming album “Hiraeth” by Sofie Birch (@sofiebirchxix ) and Antonina Nowacka (@antoninawidt ) is out today. 💫 The album will be released on vinyl and in digital format via Unsound on July 18th. You can pre-order the full album and purchase the single – also called “Hiraeth” – via Bandcamp – link in bio. 🪄 The visuals were shot on super-8 in the Polish mountains around the town of Sokołowsko during the recording sessions, which were made on a portable Nagra reel-to-reel machine – you can see it in the clip. 📽️
Coming from the Welsh language, the word “Hiraeth” describes a form of longing for an intangible something, somewhere or someone that no longer exists. 💭
