Wendy Eisenberg and more eaze are deeply in sync and alive to the pleasure of making music. As whait, they helped close off Longform Editions with a work that cradled Americana into minimalism, and now they continue with their freewheeling field of dreams for Residence with Icarus in Training. Six songs of fractured beats, bedroom pop, dreamy dub, stark folksong and blurry trip-hop built on equal parts impulse and intention.
