Eve - tortured by the death of her mother, struggles to navigate life with her new caretaker as sheās quickly plagued by her grandmother, Mariannaās, insidious obsession with molding her into the woman her mother once was. Entrapped by Mariannaās mania and the forest which surrounds her, Eve desperately seeks refuge.
A small short film by me for an editing class using archival footage. Itās about a dysfunctional relationship between a child whose mother relies on them to fill a void inside themselvesā¦very uplifting!
