I've spent the last three months at the Desconcentrar residency by @culturgest in Abrantes, the city where I grew up and hadn't returned to in years. Despite the weather adversities, I had the chance to fall in love with my hometown again. I worked with @museusdeabrantes and @sofalca_ to produce a new series of paintings, which I'm excited to present next Saturday, April 11th, in the exhibition Mater at the Museu Ibérico de Arqueologia e Arte de Abrantes, curated by @saraccbranco . I'd like to thank her for the invitation to participate in this project.
Come to Abrantes this Saturday. It's a great chance to see the city, the museum collection and our show (with @mar___vitoria and @hugodealmeidapinho , and works from the CGD collection). I'd love to see some familiar faces!

One year ago I started the residency No Entulho with Artworks and UmbigoLab, where I developed a series of oil paintings on glass together with their team. “Donzela Emancipada” was a project revisiting the work of Josefa de Óbidos and her Vedute series.
