I chose Coconut by Harry Nisson because dancing to it feels wonderfully carefree, and somehow that’s exactly the kind of energy I’m trying to allow myself lately.
There are so many things I have to do, want to do, need to do… Everyday responsibilities mixed with this constant desire to create, explore, move forward — and sometimes having to leave things aside simply because there aren’t enough hours in a day.
Or maybe because I already live several days inside a single 24-hour one 😅
So this dance became a small playful pause in the middle of everything that feels heavy or demanding. A little bubble of letting go.

J’ai choisi Coconut de Harry Nilsson parce que danser dessus me donne une sensation d’insouciance assez délicieuse… et je crois que c’est exactement ce que j’essaie de m’autoriser un peu plus en ce moment.
Il y a tellement de choses à faire, de choses que j'ai envie de faire, besoin de faire… Toutes les contraintes du quotidien mêlées à cette envie constante de créer, d’explorer, d’avancer — et parfois l’obligation de laisser certaines choses de côté simplement parce qu’il n’y a pas assez d’heures dans une journée.
Ou peut-être parce que je vis déjà plusieurs journées en une seule 😅
Alors cette danse est devenue une petite parenthèse amusante au milieu de tout ce qui peut sembler lourd ou contraignant. Une petite bulle de lâcher-prise.

First, I don't know how to be water, but for funny, I had some ideas, so I dressed up, put some Super Mario theme song & my cats wanted to help me. And of course, I tilted my phone just a bit.

Sooo close to just not doing this today lol. This week has been so intense and this day ! I almooost gave up but had been pushing through everything else like GOING TO THE DMV IN SAN DIEGO ON A FRIDAY and doing allll my laundry that my cat has been destroying and talking about real huge big edges of grief and just being a human and not giving up so. Here’s the top song of my “light happy dance” playlist that will never not make me smile and me embodying FROG water energy in extreme exhaustion, bloat and discomfort but continuing to show up. And there’s gratitude in that ❤️ ribbit. 🐸
