Lovingly crafted by @sofia.devita who also designed our first issue 📙 In Between Knots is a community platform and publication exploring home not as a fixed place but as an ongoing, lived entanglement. We take inspiration from anthropologist Tim Ingold, who writes that places are not fixed points on a map but “knots in a meshwork of lines.” These knots — crossings of paths, relations, and memories — are fleeting and fragile. Home, in this way, is not a structure we simply inherit. It is a thread we keep working: made, unmade, carried, and re-stitched again and again. <ÉTUDE> A/W 2025 This collection is an extension of Ko’s graduate collection, “Chrysanthemum Dew”, diving into her memories of drinking chrysanthemum tea on familiar outings and with each look representing a particular memory of her childhood whether it being enjoying the tea before ballet classes or at school where she discovered her admiration for for the impressionist period. ~Swanilda~ The story of Swanilda, a young woman in a village who is in love with a man named Franz. However, Franz becomes infatuated with a mysterious girl, Coppélia, whom he believes to be real, though she is actually a life-sized doll created by Dr. Coppélius.
