Back in December we finished our Hard Times Furious Dancing tour with two shows at the ICA in London - it was the culmination of a year of hard touring and a celebration of the LP of the same name.
We collaborated with choreographer Beatrix Joyce and her Wild Access dancers to create a torchlight performance around our set: the aim was to blend naturalism with the mechanical rhythms of the concert experience. The show culminated with the Wild Access dancers creating a torchlight forest fire ritual in the middle of the space. We will be posting the entire concert in due course but today 10am we’ll be premiering Dancing In Transit from the event alongside a new T-shirt design. Logan Fisher, party starter, scene setter and DJ has been playing at and curating club nights for over 2 decades. From the iconic Plastic People in London hosting legends of the progressive house sound (Darren Emerson, Paul Daley, Billy Nasty, Andrew Weatherall) he became one of the east London pioneers creating some of the first parties in the then overlooked part of London better known as Shoreditch
His latest venture, along with partner in crime Dave Gadsden, the absolutely bonkers covert warehouse parties “Tryouts For The Human Race” has set tongues wagging and already reached cult status, selling out within minutes every time and pulling in a procession of the scenes best dj’s and producers

Dear esteemed consumer,
It’s that sacred time for bands again: Bandcamp’s Fee Free Friday — when the middleman briefly evaporates and your money comes directly to us, like a warm drip-feed of survival.
To mark the occasion, we’ve manufactured a brand new t-shirt. Not art — product. Not expression — inventory. It bears the immortal phrase:
“Rhythm Is My Business”
You may recognise it as similar to the mantra of our favourite morally vacant protagonist: a property-hoarding, skyline-ruining avatar of gangster capitalism. The song is sung from his perspective — because someone has to say the quiet part loudly, preferably over a motorik beat.

There’s also a video of the track being performed live at ICA London this past December — a document of rhythm being aggressively monetised in real time.

This Saturday, the first edition of Hybrid Presents channels organic chaos and raw electronics through blistering live performances, before the night collides with relentless club drive.
Expect a bombastic opening from Tom Forever, summoning hyper-glam punk and evangelic-pop rhythms into a theatrical, pulse-raising live set that blurs the line between sermon and spectacle.
