Working with friends is one of the best gifts I could ever ask for. Khary and Josh, thank you for swooping in and helping with the silliness! I shot this four years ago with Amy and Chachi, who I can’t believe never get tired, after a heated game of “Spartacus” and It took all that time, quarantining, and as of last week, smashing my phone to sit down and edit this thing. I miss my L.A. peeps and look forward to playing around with everyone again. Until then, stay safe, and KIDS, don’t throw hot dogs at people!

Phone memory popped up. I was sweaty the first night, but the second night dropped thirty plus degrees. HMU and wardrobe had to match the sweat from the night before by wetting me down. My face sums it up. Georgia weather for ya!

Our film ‘The Weather Up There’ premiered and won “Best Comedy” this week at the New York Short Film Festival. Starring Cooper Andrews (The Walking Dead, Shazam!) and introducing Colin Buckingham, the film, at it’s core, is about looking out for our friends when they need it most.
Logline: After his football career ends, Gilbert’s best friend Dane pushes him to chase a dream of becoming a weatherman, refusing to let him give up on himself.
Life is a relentless flood of noise, pressure, and expectation. We can get so caught up in our own world that we forget to check in on the people we care about. I wanted to write something about a duo of best friends from opposite worlds going through it together. We had a blast making it. Check out some behind the scenes shots next to the finished product.

The #MaryMagnum shoot is almost at the halfway point and I cannot tell you how ridiculously fun this movie is going to be!!! Dennis would have loved every minute of it. I know I am.
