The roots and traditions of sound system culture come trodding through Baltimore City on June 13th!
@channelonesoundsystem , the legendary UK roots and steppas outfit, pull up to @peabodyheightsbrewery . Reminiscent of their many Notting Hill Carnivals, Channel One’s Mikey General and Ras Sherby are headlining a historical daytime session at the Baltimore brewery. What’s rumored to be one of their last North American tours, expect tunes old and new, dubplates and exclusives designed to rattle the low-end spectrum.
All tribes welcome, this is one for the sound system addicts: Grand Ancestor, DC’s Presidential Sound celebrates their 10 year anniversary. The crew is bringing up their full 6-scoop custom built sound system to pressurize the dance. Baltimore’s own, Black Grealish, continues his tear as one of the torch-bearer for the city’s bubbling dance scene.
Music is playing from 1pm - 7pm. Expect food, craft beer, and plenty of vibes. Come early, stay all day. Tickets in bio.
HSS-01 (Home Sound System) 2-Way Passive Speakers - Designers, and Built by me.
8 months ago I set my sights on designing and producing a pair of 2-way speakers for in home use. The goal was to create a set of suspended speakers to use while DJing and listening. I designed the box and port for maximum efficiency with the woofer. The box was CNC’d from 3/4” Ply, and the hanging hardware was laser cut using Xometry. This pair features a 8” woofer and a 1” compression driver with a custom 3D print horn on an adjustable base, all powered by a Crown Amp.
Major respect to Davis, and Lanning Smith Studios for the manufacturing process. Shout out to Es for the wiring advice.

I’m happy to announce the last hot sauce of the 2025 season “79AU” (the atomic number for gold lol). It’s about 7.5/10 on the heat scale with some mango, ginger and sumac flavors… all adding to the golden appearance.

Sunday, October 12th we’re bringing you another reggae music event hosted graciously in the back bar of @lecomptoirduvin from 2pm - 7pm. Myself (Black Grealish), Brady Rall and @djoserdc will be playing lovers rock, reggae, dub, and dancehall music all day long.
This is a FREE event, but space is limited.
