Yo back with another @carpetcompany design banger. I did all the 3D modeling on this project utilizing Sub D modeling in Rhino. We spent a hours getting the design tweaked to not only look good, but fit well. There are so many small design choices sprinkled into the final pair. It was such an eye opening design process, to create a wearable item. Many versions, revisions, 3D prints, rendering and meetings later…. We have the Carpet Company Spectacles

Massive congratulations to @0samalama@aym.tv an and the entire @carpetcompany team. Back in 2024 they needed some concept rendering of this new space. I 3D modeled and produced a digital replica of the 100 E North Ave building to help visualize design choices.

HSS-01 (Home Sound System) 2-Way Passive Speakers - Designers, and Built by me.
8 months ago I set my sights on designing and producing a pair of 2-way speakers for in home use. The goal was to create a set of suspended speakers to use while DJing and listening. I designed the box and port for maximum efficiency with the woofer. The box was CNC’d from 3/4” Ply, and the hanging hardware was laser cut using Xometry. This pair features a 8” woofer and a 1” compression driver with a custom 3D print horn on an adjustable base, all powered by a Crown Amp.
Major respect to Davis, and Lanning Smith Studios for the manufacturing process. Shout out to Es for the wiring advice.

I couldn’t believe when my @pioneerdjglobal headphones broke after a few months. Heres how designed a set of new headphone clips and 3D printed them with @xometry . These are stronger than the original injection molded plastic clips. Track by @_kadeyoung
