Olivia picked out this elegant, timeless veil to pass down to each of her sweet nieces.
Family was THE most important element of Olivia and Andrew’s wedding, and watching the start of a family legacy was truly something special.
That veil will hold so many beautiful stories for decades, and I hope this heirloom lasts generations.

Abbey and Ed’s winter wedding, though I am months behind in posting, has all the elements of a sweet Mother’s Day.
They were present, funny, intentional with how they spent their time.
Though Ed’s mom passed away a few years ago, she was beautifully remembered and present.
And Abbey’s mom has forever secured my favorite mom shot of all time, surrounded by all three daughters, cackling as they buttoned up Abbey’s dress and begged Lang to capture her “lil buttcheeks.”
Lang, Kate and I just grinned until it hurt, all parents of girls, anticipating these hilarious moments like these to come up for us.

I have been mourning you all week. Remembering you all week. Almost four years ago, we met via Zoom to talk about your wedding, almost three years ago we laughed 10 hours straight, and almost two years ago you and Drew welcomed your twins.
When you gave your cancer diagnosis, it seemed unbelievable. Just entering your third decade and motherhood. I can only imagine what your days looked like for you and Drew, your parents, Alyssa, and your sweet girls.
I am in disbelief that we only spent 10 hours together, so I am clutching to the conversations and texts we’ve had in the last 3 years. Our conversations on fertility and motherhood, and then the way we encouraged each other and fought for people.
I will hold on to your laugh and humor and absolute freedom to feel every emotion. The way you and Drew had this delicate, tender love for one another. The bubbling excitement, the way you danced off your Fireball shot.
The way you and your family belted Mumford during your reception.
I will wait, I will wait for you.
I hope you’re shaking up heaven a little bit with your cackle and amazing jokes and your strong beliefs.
In my sadness, I have so much hope that your daughters will double down on your legacy.
30 years wasn’t long enough, sweet woman. Not nearly long enough.
But your boisterous joy and determination is a legacy.
We will always remember you.
After a week of Plan A, Plan B, contingencies, last-minute changes and winter storm prep, Abbey and Ed were surrounded by 200+ people who marched in with their snow boots, slipped on their dancing shoes, and embraced this couple with pure love.
This will all be a big part of our family lore, Ed said.
Abbey was a vision—a Snow Queen—in her gorgeous ball gown. But their presence shone the brightest of all.
