For my final installment with @nocturne.atx , I wanted to capture that feeling of transcendence you find on the dance floor. Those moments at 5 a.m. when thought disappears and all that’s left is movement, sound, and energy shared with one another. The intertwining dragon like forms represent bodies becoming one collective force, connected through rhythm, instinct, and complete surrender to the dance floor. Choosing dragon-esque creatures over mutated humanoid figures has let me express the primal and transformative power of dance, that feeling of becoming something beyond yourself even if only for a few hours on a weekend night. Thank you to everyone who has supported and connected with my residency for Nocturne. I hope these pieces resonated with anyone who knows the power of losing yourself through movement, in or out of the party. Big shout out to the Nocturne team for letting me be part of this amazing opportunity to give back to my community and be part of culture.

For this third installment of my residency with @nocturne.atx I wanted to capture something sensual and feral, to have this piece describe the feeling of tension and suspension, accumulation building before climax. Electricity and energy running through your body as you move throughout the dance floor, your mind fractures through your own physicality and your body becomes an output for immense energy ready to release what lies in the belly of the beast.
March 28 marks exactly one year since @nocturne.atx first party. For this one, we want y’all to come dressed in your craziest outfits. We’re in for a fun night, and we’ve encouraged everyone to step out of their comfort zone and experiment with new sounds. Come with an open mind and expect some weird ass music.

For this second installment of my residency with @nocturne.atx I wanted to continue my admiration and fascination with body movement and the visceral sensations felt on the dance floor. This entity carries a quietly dangerous sense of power and resilience, caught in a stagnation of something that is happening or about to happen. It exists in that split open window just before a detonation of energy, mirroring the moment of presence felt before euphoric release. There is a gently charged tension throughout its ghostly appearance, its human yet creature like form reflecting back onto who we become when the body leads and the mind follows.

It’s been a great pleasure to be asked to create a piece of work for @nocturne.atx upcoming show on 1/23
This painting is a raw homage to the beauty of the body and the cosmic connection that tethers us together. The piece fuses surrealism with vibrant deep reds and pinks. The central figure or figures display the connection and synergy felt on the dance floor, where everyone becomes one in a way that is energetically and spiritually experienced beyond comprehension. Elongated horns express the primal, visceral feeling of moving your body without explanation. The striking atmosphere craves intimacy and sensuality without validation, raw presence without performance. It reeks of mystery and celebration.
