I turned 28 on Friday and geeeee did I feel the love!! lucky gal I am. thank you for making it so special 🥹 I wrote this after I did some morning stretches on Thursday, really taking in the circle of the journey the twenty seventh year blessed me with. Read wot you will // but if you dont get to end - basically what I’m trying to say is I love you, I’m proud of you❤️ the day before 28 Im not sure why but im ugly crying while writing this maybe because 27 was a year in which my heart completely broke Where death reminded me of how delicate and precious this life is Where showing up and doing what you love brings you back to the present moment capturing people. Beautiful people. Complex beings. Maybe it’s the empath in me - but the the hardship in this world is so brutal yet we all find the strength within us to keep going, to keep showing up, to keep waking up on this beautiful planet. The tiny brave strength to just be, and to be here now. I’m reminded by the small things The way the birds fly in the sky The way they tweet and sing their bird songs The way a new leaf unfolds from the monster plant you’ve had since you were 18 The way coffee tingles on your tounge The way the sunshine shines in my kitchen One thing is for sure The earth does not stop rotating For its motion is forward And forward we go I hope I can keep up, and keep at it For it’s a beautiful honour To observe this world spin in it’s entirety To watch humans exist in their days To simply find the balance of the good and the bad and sit comfortably with what you make out of it. I’ll probably keep leaking out of my face for ever and ever because of the beauty that exist around us. The kindness, the love. Even when it hurts the most. It’s all too much for my little big heart. Honestly this little big heart of mine thanks you for believing in it. For sharing our moments together, big or small. To bear witness of my fellow human being’s accomplishments, to be or not to be but to be beautifully. I thank theeeee for simply showing up. observing my life as I observe yours. And supporting each other while doing it. Thank you ❤️
