For anyone that doesn’t know, @roarartists and our sister company @skyevictoria_projects are female founded (hi @skyevkb ) and we are honoured and proud to work with a majority of female identifying artists, not because that’s how they identity, but because we absolutely love and believe in the artwork they do. As an agency and within our mentorship we try super hard to be and create a space for eveyone to feel valued, supported, heart and championed, always and forever.
As always we shout from the top of our lungs: Companies, let’s make sure we don’t use today as a performative action that you do one day a year, let’s make sure that you are celebrating all those who identify as female every single day of the year. Create projects, opportunities, and space for those stories to be heard regardless of the day.

ANOTHER YEAR OLDER - Celebrating another year on this earth in my favourite place in this world 🇯🇵🩵As is custom a photo of my face as I get older, alongside my favourite trees that I was able to see turning yellow - the ginkgo ⭐️
The ancient yew tree growing in the cloisters at Muckross Abby has been on my must see list for so long and god what a beauty - This tree is anywhere between 400-800 years old and sits in the middle of these ruins still today growing string. The yew holds significant importance to the Celtic people, being one of the sacred trees of the Druids and known as the tree of life and death, it symbolises rebirth and eternity (due to its evergreen colour and ability to survive long periods) but also death and the afterlife (its incredibly poisonous) and its branches are used to ward of evil, a fact that was taken on by Christianity from the pagan Celtic people and why you find many yew tree’s in church graveyards! 🌳
