Matheus & Justine are not only skate addicts, but are also passionate about sharing their love for roller dance with others.
These classes are a judgment-free space in which you learn to stand up, fall, laugh and do it all over again until you are rolling with confidence.

You have some or no previous quad skate experience

Learning the essential tools that will get you rolling safely and with confidence

Roller skating is all fun and games until you realize you tore a muscle or two.. it’s truly a sport, and the more we do it, the more we need to think of setting up a real recovery regimen.
Getting a sports massage has become a staple in my routine and I get one every 4-6 weeks to help release the tensions especially in the lower body that’s always actived while skating.

Since there’s no one designated space to skate outside in Montréal, we’re referring back to our trusted collaborative map, on Google Maps, made by skaters for skaters, with all their favorite local skate spots accross Montréal.
❓How does it work?
➡️ You want to skate and not sure where: Go on the map and look at the nearest spot that had been added by a skater before you
➡️ You discovered a new spot to skate in? Don’t gatekeep, add it on the map along with your comments eg best hours to go, how the surface is etc

💖THIS is why I love skating: Read 📖
Since I started teaching, I’ve had the pleasure of receiving small gifts, tokens of appreciation and sweet messages from students who showed how appreciative they are for being part of the classes. I rarely share them because I find them to be personal gestures that I respect dearly, but this one hit me like a NJ train and touched me to the core.
✨Context:
I met Sebastien and his daughter Eleonor last March when my team and myself taught classes @roller_avenue . They came to all 8 classes we taught and were always very attentive and showed us appreciation. They even went ahead and made matching jerseys under the “spin family” name which I complimented them on since I thought it was absolutely adorable.
On April 8, Lebanon was bombed severely and I was unwell. I grew up there, my parents are there, it’s like you were watching your home being destroyed helplessly.
I made a post about a slither of what I was feeling but went ahead and continued teaching anyway. Sebastien and his daughter surprise me with a box of middle eastern Baklava, before class, with a kind note to appease my pain. It was incredibly thoughtful and I was very appreciative.
