I recently collaborated with @monography to experience their self-shooting photography studio and what I thought would just be a fun creative shoot turned into something way more emotional for me.
Watching people use the space for art, memories, engagements, self-expression, and love felt so beautiful. But for me, this experience became rooted in self-love + self-admiration.
A really beautiful friend of mine, Heather @hmactic , intentionally goes out to capture herself throughout her life by booking in local photographers to capture her in photoshoots. That mindset inspired this entire experience for me.
So I let myself fully see me.
my smile.
my body.
my face.
my hair.
who I am in 2026 🫶🏽
I cried, laughed, panicked, posed, sweated, and cherished every single photo.
And with summer coming up, I know so many of us start becoming extra critical of ourselves physically. We’re constantly being fed noise telling us we need to change before we’re worthy of being seen.
this is your reminder that you don’t.
