Our book features 18 homes where the transformative power of our work has created emotional connection and wellbeing for our clients.
For us, the building blocks of a project are not the bricks and mortar but the intangibles that make up our ethos as a business: the transportive and immersive roles of colour, the creation of joy and forging of an emotional connection, the character and spirit of a house – its heart and soul – and that special alchemy that occurs when it all comes together in a unique, magical blend. These ideas are the touchstones of our studio, and the projects we have selected illustrate how we express those ideas and bring them to life.

What an incredible day. It's hard to put into words how much it meant to be there to witness the love and celebration of my little brother @mgsuliman and his love @pauldurgan The day was filed with emotion - so much happiness for these two, an incredible setting, the love and support of all their family and friends, delicious food and wine, a packed dancefloor. It was a magical day and night. Mostly I was so happy to know that brother has found his person, and to see how loved he is, and to have Paul as a new brother ❤️❤️❤️❤️

As the inaugural Guest Editor for the first of a series of six collector’s issues of Habitus magazine, Sarah-Jane Pyke has packed her edition, the Kitchen & Bathroom special, with practical insights plus glimpses into the beating hearts of inspirational homes.
Sarah-Jane also chats at length to Habitus’ editor, Gillian Serisier, about what makes the ultimate kitchen zing, drawing examples from some of our special projects. The issue also profiles Luke Moloney, a talented architect and dear friend of Sarah-Jane’s, the delightful Sophie Travers from the Australian Tapestry Workshop, plus Christopher Boots, a master of lighting innovations. Our Bay House project on Sydney Harbour also features, focusing on its kitchen and bathroom plus the expressive stone varieties within these spaces.
