ABACUS by Christopher Boots Inspired by the ancient tool of balance and calculation, ABACUS is a sculptural study in proportion, material, and light. Faceted quartz is suspended along a refined horizontal beam, creating a composition of rhythm, tension, and harmony. As light diffuses through the stone, the piece transforms the atmosphere around it — bringing warmth, depth, and quiet architectural presence to the space. Each piece is assembled by hand at the @christopherboots studio in Melbourne, Australia, with configurations tailored to the scale and intent of each project. Now on view at YDF Interiors. For designers, architects, and collectors looking to introduce statement pieces with true artistic presence into their projects — our team is ready to assist with specification, sourcing, and integration.

METEOR by Christopher Boots More atmospheric sculpture than traditional lighting, METEOR transforms the feeling of a space through crystal, shadow and movement. Each smoky and clear quartz element is individually composed and hand-set at @christopherboots studio in Melbourne, Australia — a process that takes weeks for a single artisan to complete. Now on view at YDF Interiors in London

“The spark of creation, previously limited to the Gods, gave mortals the power to dream, create, imagine and challenge.” . Through the use of natural crystal quartz, Australian lighting designer @ChristopherBoots investigates relationships between nature, architecture, symbology, geometry, and geology. His work reflects an ongoing exploration of structure, symmetry, and pattern, shaped by material and method.  . Photo @christinefrancisphotographer Available through COUP D’ETAT Showrooms.

Four humans looked back at Earth this week. From where they sat, the Moon swallowed the Sun entirely. Not darkness, not light: a corona. The halo that only reveals itself when the source disappears. Perspective changes everything you thought you knew about light. It's the principle we've worked from since the beginning. 📷 NASA | Artemis II | April 6, 2026
