I had the opportunity to be in the room to celebrate so many friends, peers, colleagues, and for the first time ever, clients last night.
The talent, heart and passion in that room was infectious and unmeasurable. Truly inspired by y’all.
Every bar on this list is special, mad love to my West Coast fam doing big things, and for my chosen home, it’s forever NY or Nowhere baby. 🗽
BORDERLESS GALA
10 years ago @ruffoibarra and his team opened up @oryxrestaurante in Tijuana, BC, MX and i had the unique experience to be a small part of their journey, helping them with the opening of the first true cocktail bar in Northern Baja California, @norticotj
Last weekend we celebrated the only way Chef Ruffo knows how, with a BAAAAANGER party. He assembled some of the best culinary minds in Baja and Alta California, and i had the pleasure to bring down a dream team bar crew of @key2_thecity@ginhoar@keven_tocino@jangelavilap@saysar and @benrojo
All proceeds went to the @bomberos.tijuana and a really good amount of money went to those heroes.
To cap it all off, Ruffo proposed to his long time lady and we all got to share with that special moment. I can’t stress how much love i have for Tijuana, and the amazing people who make it special, who always make me feel like I’m a part of their family. I know i can always call Tijuana my home 🖤
