Cada día que levanto miro este retrato y digo “vamos a darle” New York puede ser intimidating, pero he sido afortunado de cruzarme con gente increíblemente talentosa como @devonrodriguezart que ha estado dispuesta a ayudarme y enseñarme. A todos los que me han echado la mano a lo largo de mi carrera en hospitality, GRACIAS. No he trabajado en muchos lugares, pero sí en los que siempre dan de qué hablar.
Si en algún momento te tomaste el tiempo de enseñarme una técnica, una receta, una historia, quiero que sepas que no fue en vano. Porque hospitality no es solo servir un plato o un cocktail—it’s about connection, about heart. Y cuando realmente lo sientes, se nota.

Seven days out, it didn’t look like we’d make it.
Dust in the air. Wires exposed. Paint still drying.
Then something shifts.
The lights hit the right level.
The menu locks in.
Mise en place finds its rhythm.
Quiet chaos turns into intention.
And suddenly… there’s a bar.
