In 2021, the Remo Stars product got his first international call up to the Nigeria National Football team by Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr. @marcus_________99 has had a good spell in the European football scene. Since joining the FC Porto B side on a season-long loan in 2022, the forward has worked hard and established himself to earn him his Primeira Liga Debut With FC Porto First Team Against Portimonense in the 26th Round of the League. Through his speed, strength, agility, shot power and finishing ability. Marcus is definitely going to be one of the biggest export from the Nigeria Professional Football League to the world. Fashion Friday 👕 This week’s feature is Feedy, a fashion stylist who’s worked with some of your favorite footballers & music artists. Here’s what he told us about his journey & recent @pumafootball project: Football has always been Feedy’s passion, and his deeper dive into fashion started when interning under Styledbyreus, a Lagos-based celebrity fashion stylist. “The idea for footy fashion came to me during the COVID-19 lockdown. At that time, I was feeling uninspired & wanted to stand out from my industry peers by merging my two loves” In regard to the philosophy of styling, he said he values creative freedom when working with talent, while tailoring his ideas to fit their personality & needs. Feedy is drawn to talents who exude finesse and have natural confidence in their fashion choices as their unique personalities + experimentation often bring out the best in his creativity. He shouted LB & Treeps as some of his favorite music artists to work with and musical geniuses to watch out for. He’s also had the opportunity to work on a basketball project with Sunday School. In terms of lows & highs, he stated, “In Nigeria, unlike what people might assume from the outside, as a fashion stylist, the amount of work or gigs you get is heavily influenced by how many record label executives or production managers you know. This can sometimes overshadow talent or skill” Despite this, he remains confident “In the next 5 years, I see myself as a pioneer in establishing & innovatively shaping the football-fashion scene in Nigeria. My work will gain worldwide recognition, positioning me as a leading voice in this unique intersection of sports and style. Through this journey, I aim to inspire and empower younger creatives to continue to push boundaries, driving a new wave of originality & excellence.” Lastly, Feedy’s been incredibly excited about his recent collaboration with Puma. “The experience on my Puma project was incredible! We had so much fun bringing our vision to life. A big shoutout to the amazing creatives on set with me Cardi Clicks, Ore, and Ice Wataa for making it all come together”
