@scenerycoffeeroasters x
@siop.tec for MCF ‘25
Scenery and Sioptec are two roasteries with kindred spirits - with a mutual love for creativity, fidelity and an open and transparent approach to roasting.
Moose came to visit us at sioptec and brought along his gas moves as well as a very special nano-lot Gesha from
@project.hachi in Panama (Bermudez, Hartmann, Antonaci)
This lot was processed in a very unique fashion - a short, intense in-cherry ferment that we find has left it with a juicy, effervescent acidity and minimal processing character, allowing the high altitude (2000-2200 MASL) genetic expression of the Gesha cultivar to show front and centre in the cup. Roasted with minimal roaster influence to match the processing - this one will like some rest!
We’re tasting:
Soft floral aromas of lady grey tea alongside apple blossom. In the cup an incredibly elegant and lively acidity - raspberry lemonade, mango juice, gooseberry, with soft white florals lingering in the finish. As it cools, becoming blackcurrant & rhubarb; with great sweetness and a silky body.
100g doses available from
@siopshop from Friday onwards, Web siop next week and wherever you see us this weekend dotted around the festivities. We’ll be brewing the above at siopshop alongside Scenery on Sunday morning.
Look forward to seeing all this weekend
