Last week we had the amazing opportunity to co-lead an @aiasf Youth Program workshop at the Academy of Art University as part of “Think Like an Architect.” Through hands-on model making, students explored form, space, and the process of turning bold ideas into something tangible—reminding us that curiosity is where design begins

Constructing ecology. Our live roof modules taking form at Point Reyes. Excited to see install. #landscapearchitecture #integraldesign #greenroof #livingroof #biophilicdesign
High above the SoMa streets, this rooftop living wall is an urban oasis.
Designed in conversation with a water feature, the south-facing wall is planted with sun-loving ferns, grasses, and sculptural evergreens, built to handle full exposure while still feeling soft and immersive.
A little greenery can completely transform a rooftop and engage the sense. Fitting for this space: Four One Nine, a hub for artists, creatives, and product developers in the heart of San Francisco.

As summer is approaching its final days, we wanted to share some recipes from our personal collection—a simple set of ingredients that come together to create layered, seasonal flavors. These dishes remind us how we gather, share, nourish, and connect with our community.
Here’s to savoring the last tastes of summer together...
Thank you so much to the team at @dwellmagazine and @gracebernard for capturing our work on this much-renovated Victorian. This is a special project to us, full of tensions and contrasts, and we’re just thrilled and grateful to see it out in the world.

As we approach the full moon, we’re taking a moment to honor Lughnasadh (LOO-nah-sa)—a celebration of the first summer harvest.
We’re feeling grateful: for sun-warmed tomatoes, salty dips in the bay, kind words from our friends at @shltr_mag , inspiring art, and most of all—our community.
Here’s to the savoring last days of summer, remembering our roots, and showing up for one another...

Thanks @zahidsardardesign and @weareshltr for highlighting our beloved Sea Cliff project!
Designed as a multigenerational home, this project is a place of refuge that evolves with a family’s needs—a space rooted in inclusion, adaptability, and care. A home not just for today, but for tomorrow—and all the tomorrows that follow.
