Mark Brokaw and I saw the world together while doing what we love - working on new work - thanks to @philiphimberg and @topherhibma and @sundanceorg . Utah. Arles. Morocco. Thousands of hours on @sdc_union board and countless committees. He was president of @sdcfoundation . He spent his life developing new plays and musicals and loving his friends and collaborators in his quiet, fierce way.
He is loved. And he is missed @mbrokawnyc 💔
These men represent a significant part of my entire career. I met @danieldaekim in 2001 and @thedavidhenryhwang and @francisjueactor in 2006. I’ve cast Francis in at least 10 shows - starting with Yellow Face in 2007 - and have worked with David on more than 8 projects.
We all worked together on the @audible version of Yellow Face before bringing it to Broadway at @roundaboutnyc .
