Embarrass yourself at least once a day. Don’t shy away from uncomfortable feelings. That awkward feeling you feel is your reward for being alive. It says you’re growing and showing. Face the people. We all think we’re being judged but that’s humanities biggest mistake.
LAST Cliff Jumping:
Mastering the Art of Clowning by the Seat of Your Pants
A workshop with Ryan Pater @ry2p2 and Matthew Silver @silver.matthew
Jump off the cliff and onto the stage completely naked in spirit. This workshop will train the clown improvisor to take the stage with no plan but to give the greatest performance of their little clown life. Expect to perform, fail, flail, fly, push, quiet down, explode, and poop your heart out your mouth and then your butt and then your mouth again all for who… your sacred beautiful judgmental loving audience.
This workshop was created by Ryan Pater and Matthew Silver combining their experience in street performance, clown school training, and big dream of creating an unstoppable army of cliff jumping clown ninjas that destroy streaming services and social media as we know it. This workshop will end with a 4 minute improvised solo performance at the Idiots Hour on 7/1 from 8pm-11pm at @bakerfalls 192 Allen St.
*Previous clown or performance experience is recommended for this workshop*. DM MATT OR RYAN IF INTERESTED. LIMITED SLOTS
