Here are pretty images for your eye holes, photographed for “Low Tempo, High Times,” my debut record as Significant Brother.
I’m proud of these tunes and endlessly thankful for everyone who has taken time to listen.
Don’t stare too long or you’ll go blind.
More tunes coming soon. And that’s a threat.

Peeling back the layers of the “Corner of My Eye” lyric video. Shot 10 takes on a Lumix GH5 using 50mm and 85mm lens from various angles and edited in Adobe Premiere. The original concept was to have like 5 or 6 of these unique videos playing on various TVs and projector screens in our living room so anywhere the camera panned would be my distorted face watching you from the corner of my eye (hey-o!). But this 1 video took way too long to edit, and I’m knee-deep in Arc Raiders on PS5 so I JUST DON’T HAVE THE TIME!

“Corner of My Eye” is track number 9 on the record but number 2 (or at least top 5) in my heart. Thanks to y’all for listening. Song streaming everywhere now, and the video is on YouTube.

Vid for “Corner of My Eye” is up on YouTube. Still kicking myself for capitalizing “of” in the title on all the streaming platforms. I don’t think that’s grammatically correct. Will do better in the future.
Hope y’all have been digging the record!

“Corner of My Eye” was one of the fastest songs to come together for “Low Times, High Tempo.” Lyrics, melody, the music — all of it just fell into place. And then the conversation hit a brick wall when we couldn’t decide if the chorus drums and chords should hit on the 1 or on the off-beat, Phoenix-style. It’s still up for debate.
Check out the lyric video over on YouTube and decide for yourself.
“Low Tempo, High Times” has been out for a month! Thanks to everyone who’s given my debut as Significant Brother a spin. Music is on all streamers, videos over on YouTube.
I finally beat Death Stranding 2 so you can expect more music, videos and general CONTENT soon.

Endless thanks to everyone who helped on this project, especially Dev, Caro, Emma, & Austin for spirit guiding the photos.
Alex Ward of Hembree and the Noise FM released his solo debut, Low Tempo, High Times on Sept. 12. His self-titled project, Significant Brother is indeed, significant.
