Last weekend the Hatchling walked again through the streets of Wakefield. What a journey. Absolutely delightful work with 36 incredible puppeteers, a brilliant team of kiters, staged management, producers, makers, designers of course behind us.. and dozens of local people and groups involved in making moments that will live in the memory for a very long time. 10 years ago we made this brilliant show at the beautiful Cuvilliestheater at the Residenz in Munich.
Stiller, adapted from Max Frisch’s novel by Andreas Karlaganis, Mervyn Millar and Tina Lanik, directed by Tina Lanik and Mervyn Millar, and designed by Stefan Hageneier.
Performed by the ensemble at the Resi with August Zirner sharing the lead with his puppet double (animated by too many to name!).
