In a physical garden, 🪴 a little shovel was needed to work around the roots so that the weed could be pulled out.
When it comes to our hearts, there are tools that help heal and remove deeply rooted lies from our souls.
Take time to learn the tools and create the space in your heart to get free from deeply rooted beliefs and lies. Meeting with others, confession, coaching and inner healing are all ways we can make room for breakthrough.

15 years ago, @ben_siekmeier officially asked me to be his girlfriend! This led to a journey of discovering the purpose of dating, which for me was to build for a kingdom marriage. At the time, it felt like it was going to be so easy. However, as we embarked on our journey of dating and growing deeper in our relationship, we realized that we had a lot of work to do. Childhood wounds, trauma responses, and unforgiveness brought out the ugly and messy sides of us. But in the goodness of Jesus, He exposed all these things, yet He did not leave us uncovered. Through a lot of deep inner healing, forgiveness, repentance, therapy, and prayer, He broke off the chaff from our souls and healed those places.
As we have journeyed for 15 years in our relationship, I want to share two takeaways with you today:
1. Humility leads to healing. Sometimes, we have to come to our knees and acknowledge that we are weak and that Jesus is strong. It’s not about our own control, but truly about letting Jesus do His work.
2. Freedom is free, but it needs to be stewarded. Walking in a lifestyle of freedom is a gift, but stewardship, to me, has meant constant surrender, repentance, and self-awareness. The moment a trigger comes up, I have to go to Jesus and let Him deal with it, and I have to be willing to do what He’s asking me to do.
For those of you who are single and longing, know that you’re not alone. You matter and you’re seen by Jesus. I’m praying for His company and presence in the lonely hours and in the moments where you feel sad and hopeless. May the Lord give you perspective into what He’s doing behind the scenes.
For those of you who are in a relationship and having a difficult time, allow this season for Jesus to consecrate your heart and deepen the places of your heart that are in need of healing.

As I’ve been seeking the Lord for this month, I have sense of Jesus’s invitation to persevere. In the race, he’s there to coach, sustain, strengthen and encourage us.
We pray that this is an encouraging word no matter the season of life you’re currently in.
“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, you his servants, the descendants of Israel, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.”
1 Chronicles 16:11-13
The month of May has been personally a month of stretching and growth for me. As I’ve been spending time in the secret place, the Lord has been speaking to me about the months of May, June and July being months of preparation.
If you are finding yourself in a season of transition and change, take heart Jesus is with you!
Be encouraged and take heart ❤️
God is moving in significant ways, he’s preparing our hearts to be vessels of his presence.
Today we pray that the Holy Spirit will give you eyes to see what he’s doing and wants to do through you ✨
Today we want to share with you some 🔑🔑🔑 to overcoming comparison and getting freedom in this critical area of our lives.
✨ Comparison is not new. As we studied the word in preparation for this post, we were overwhelmed with the amount of verses that pertain to this topic.
✨We believe that God’s heart is to set us totally free from comparison and insecurity so that we can live a lifestyle of honor and cultivate true esteem for others.
✨ We are praying for you, that you may encounter God’s BREAKTHROUGH in this area of your life.

💡 Many of us struggle to really feel God’s love and trust that he has good plans for our lives. As a result, we often try to work to earn God’s love and acceptance, or to feel secure in our lives through our own merits. This often times bleeds out into other areas of our lives and can disrupt or limit our peace and confidence.
💡Today we want you to take courage and allow God to set you free from the performance mindset.
💡It is common to start the year with some sort of detox, but what if we allow God to detox us for good from the performance mindset?
💡If we had no fear and walked in the full rest of knowing that we are unconditionally loved and accepted who would we be?
💡If any of this resonates and you’d like someone to walk alongside you as you go deeper, please send us a DM and we can share more with you about getting a coaching or an inner healing session.
💡We are praying that this year will be a year of total freedom and healing.
Happy New Year ✨
As we enter into a new year we’ve heard some prophetic insight and encouragement from Jesus.
We pray that this will be encouraging to you and that the voice of Jesus will speak to you and give you clarity as you enter into a new year.

Hello Friends! @ben_siekmeier here.
I want to take a moment to honor my wife @ale_siekmeier and all women today. Life is hard, and women who consistently show up are everyday heroes. Those who take leadership seriously, whether it be in their work places or homes, and do it with grace, poise, and power are worthy of our utmost respect.
As many of you may be reflecting today, I want to remind you that women are dynamic. Femininity is powerful, because as the light hits it, the colors that emerge are radically different. Charm & radiance, along with frankness & assertiveness, can somehow go hand in hand with so many seemingly opposing strengths. Comfort & fierceness, love & power...and it's not all held within one individual woman. It's a symphony that comes from the collective presence and beauty of women. I am so grateful for what you bring to this world. Your voices matter. You matter. You are the architects helping build a better world!
Hi friends! We hope you're doing well and had a great week.
I'd like to ask you a few questions: How are you really doing? How have your levels of hope been lately? Have you felt stuck as you’ve been wanting to accomplish a new project, take a risk, or even go deeper in interpersonal or romantic relationships?
Here at Between A&B, we really believe in the process of cleaning up our internal garden in order to see growth. I think about this analogy—our heart is like a huge, lush garden that often needs some tending. Sometimes, we might need to dig in and see if there are rocks around the root system that are preventing growth.
As a coach based in emotional healing, I love to take my clients to where the core wounds lie or anywhere where they might feel stuck.
Two of my core values as I work with clients are: 1.) Making space for moments of encounter. These moments are designed to encounter Jesus and give Him room to uproot the rocks that are covered with pain and lies. 2.) Making space for processing. These times are designed for practical steps, where we create an action plan to renew thoughts, and start stepping forward into new risks and challenges.
If you have felt the need for someone to help you in this season of life…I’m here for you!My approach is guided with compassion and honesty. I am going to challenge you and take you out of your comfort zone (after all I’m an 8 on the Enneagram 💁🏽♀️), but I will be with you in the process!
I’m taking a few new clients this month. If anything above has resinated, please contact me!
I have so much hope you’ll find breakthrough this season, and I can’t wait to help you through it! — @ale_siekmeier 💕✨
