Lifeline is going to be screened at the Winnipeg Real to Reel Film festival and the Toronto Short Film Festival!
The Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival is coming up next week from February 17th-February 22nd! Lifeline will screen at the 12pm short film section on Saturday, February 21st as well as the 6pm short film section on Sunday, February 22nd.
The Toronto Short Film Festival takes place from March 19th to March 21st. Lifeline will screen at the end of the 2pm short film section on Saturday, March 21st.
We’re so excited to share this film with more audiences and celebrate films on the big screen!

Getting the chance to DoP this story was not only meaningful because of the subject matter, which hits close to home for me, but also because it pushed me out of my comfort zone in so many ways 🙏🏾
I won’t ramble on, but in short, I loved every moment of it, from start to finish! I’m forever grateful to my amazing crew and to everyone who took the time to hear my pitches.
As someone who’s used to working with higher-tier cinema cameras, choosing the #sonyfx6 was an intentional move. I wanted to refine my skills with gear that’s more accessible to filmmakers looking to level up.
Even now, I still think the FX6 is ONE OF the best all-around prosumer cameras—perfect for professional use right out of the box (I’m getting fight-ready DMs in for sure xD). @sonycanada

This past month has been incredibly fulfilling. @jamieslifelately and I talked about this Mental Health Awareness project a while back, and we both agreed—this story had to be told with care and diligence.
Now for Shoot 2 (which should be a breeze, right? 😅).
Filming came with its fair share of challenges, but none of this would’ve happened without the dedication of our amazing crew and some key supporters.
