The Great Cover Up, Paul Siler's long-running tradition at Kings invites area musicians to show up as their idols on stage in disguise, for a good cause. It’s become one of the Triangle’s longest-running annual events, a Halloween of sorts for the music scene, dating back to 1999 to raise money for Eastern NC in the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd. Experience it in all its glory later this month.

Turning two is pretty damn terrific! Under the brilliant, delicious + spirited leadership of chef Cheetie Kumar & Paul Siler, Ajja marked its second anniversary in style – and in print. We are two days late to say HOLY $H*T we are TWO YEARS OLD! Where did the time go? And yet- can’t remember a time when Ajja wasn’t here. Too many folks to thank (or tag) for such a richly joyous couple of years…We wouldn’t be anything without our lovely team- (more about them tomorrow). Thank you Raleigh (and beyond) for embracing our little place on Bickett Blvd. We are putting a couple of original menu items on special this weekend- and of course, we have a market on SUNDAY from 12-4.
