I saw @wednesday_gurl last weekend at one of the three sold-out shows at the legendary @catscradlenc . Just absolutely fantastic. It’s been amazing to see them progress as a band since I first saw them at @hopscotchfest five years ago. One of my favorite memories from that festival was the band hanging out with all of us photographers at Moore Square before their afternoon set. We chatted, we laughed, we took some photos, and then they went and kicked ass on stage. I don’t think I’ve ever posted these. #wednesdayband #hopscotchfest

I’m hearing this afternoon that Lynn Blakey has passed way. I didn’t know her, but was certainly a fan of her work in (among others) Let’s Active and Tres Chicas. and I recently learned that she is the inspiration behind The Replacements great “Left of the Dial”. My condolences to all her friends and family.
I heard the great news that @phuzzsounds are bringing Phuzz Phest back to Winston-Salem this spring. I have really fond memories of attending as a photographer in the past, including this performance by Sengoko (@sengoko_music ), who was going by the moniker T0w3rs at the time, at @singlebrothersbarws . Looking forward to seeing the lineup drop
