This week in Oro Valley, AZ, we had the privilege of riding the Project Echelon Fondo surrounded by veterans, community members, and some seriously fast pro legs.
Project Echelon is more than a UCI pro cycling team it’s a mission to Educate, Equip, and Empower veterans through endurance sport and community. That purpose is something we’re proud to align with.
Between the VOS and TBC Race, Arizona gave us everything from desert roads, stacked fields, and a cycling community that showed up in a big way.
We came for the racing.
We left reminded why we ride.
Grateful for the miles. Grateful for the mission.

There’s nothing quite like a Saturday morning ride.
The group was a bit smaller than usual, but that just made it tighter—and the pace was still spicy enough to earn a proper workout.
Good friends. Teammates. Shared suffering and shared laughs.
About 45 minutes of honest tempo, cruising fast down historic Victoria Ave here in Riverside.
Smooth roads, tall trees, early-morning light—one of those rides that reminds you why you ride.

The 2026 season is officially underway. Got to dust off the legs at Carson in the CBR series with teammates. We had a rider in yellow for the 30+ category, so we rode together initially. However, after 20 minutes, USAC pulled us back due to an 11-man break.
Rather than head home after a long drive, I joined the P123 for an intense, 75 minute race, testing my fitness among 100 others. Averaging nearly 29mph was an intense way to kick off the season.
Caught up with most of the squad on Sunday and can't wait to do it again throughout the year!
