This week in Oro Valley, AZ, we had the privilege of riding the Project Echelon Fondo surrounded by veterans, community members, and some seriously fast pro legs.
Project Echelon is more than a UCI pro cycling team it’s a mission to Educate, Equip, and Empower veterans through endurance sport and community. That purpose is something we’re proud to align with.
Between the VOS and TBC Race, Arizona gave us everything from desert roads, stacked fields, and a cycling community that showed up in a big way.
We came for the racing.
We left reminded why we ride.

The Tucson Bicycle Classic 2025 was an absolute blast! The 40+ Men’s 1-3 field was stacked full of over 100+ hitters from around the country who kept our guys on their toes. @kylecoopermd came away with a 7th in the crit, snagged the bonus points from a 1.5 lap breakaway and a decent field sprint finish in the RR, and another 7th place in the new-and-improved (and beautiful) circuit race, for a 9th place overall. Considering the less than ideal TT on an hour of sleep after a red-eye drive from SoCal the night before the race, this is a respectable result. Lee had a great weekend and performed very well in the crit. The men enjoyed their time in this beautiful city and look forward to the 2026 edition!

First Valley of the Sun Stage Race in the books for the new team! Only a few of us could make it, but we had a great time and made a lot of new friends. After a long day in the winning breakaway on day 2, @kylecoopermd was able to snag the big $100 prime and make the extended podium for 4th in the crit on day 3. Great way to boost our confidence and race into some fitness as we prepare for @tucson_bicycleclassic in less than a week, where the 40+ field has over 110 registered riders already!!
