No on view thru 06.27 - Minor Arcana featuring 19 artists and 52 new works all inspired by the suits of Cups, Pentacles, Swords and Wands.
Twos in the Tarot represent duality and connection, the harmonious and complicated joining of forces. The Two of Cups signifies new partnerships and mutual attraction; the Two of Pentacles conjures the juggling of multiple priorities and managing resources; and the Two of Wands signifies discovery and action towards enacting a new plan.

About Roscoe Hall //
Roscoe Hall is a Birmingham-based artist and chef whose work lives at the intersection of food, art, and cultural memory. He’s cooked just about everywhere across the U.S., carrying stories from kitchens into galleries and museums where his works - now in institutional collections - draw on layered histories. Using materials pulled from the soil, scraps of fabric, and the everyday, his paintings speak to migration, family, and the survival of the rural South. Beyond his studio and stove, Roscoe helps build educational platforms to deepen food knowledge, especially for folks stepping into entrepreneurship and community-driven cooking. His practice leans into regional research to honor overlooked narratives and spotlight the resilience that still thrives in and beyond the Southeast.

Sheet Cake Gallery is pleased to participate in the 17th edition of the Dallas Art Fair this week with a dual presentation of work by Joel Parsons (Memphis, TN) and David Onri Anderson (Nashville, TN) . Join us at Booth D10, 04.16 - 19.2026.
Parsons’ multidisciplinary practice centers queer intimacy, anxiety, and pleasure. His new mirror-based works capture the hazy, liminal hours after a night out, when memory blurs and images dissolve into one another. Each piece pays homage to a different defunct gay bar, in which the ambiance of each space informs the lustrous color palettes and embellishments. Likewise, his stained glass works shift with changing light, reflecting the ways we are continually shaped by the people and environments around us.
Mystical yet grounded in the natural world, Anderson’s paintings emerge from an intuitive and deeply personal practice. His recent work for the Dallas Art Fair centers on candle imagery and ethereal figures he lovingly refers to as “Interdimensional Beings.” Often rooted in grief, these paintings hold fleeting moments — particularly the vulnerability of candlelight — in a suspended, permanent state. Evoking warmth and illumination, they function as quiet memorials to collective and personal loss amid ongoing violence at home and abroad. The figurative paintings also feature dualities of darkness and light, and inner and outer worlds.

We are open today starting at 11 AM and open late for our neighborhood art crawl from 4 - 7 PM! And don't forget about our next HI//LO event on 04.23 with Bar Limina and special guest, Timothy Faulkner, from the Michelin rated Whoopsie's Place in Atlanta, GA. Cocktails and small bites inspired by the art on the walls at the gallery. Come hang out!
Anchoring Ruby T's exhibition, A fuchsia brighter than hell, is the large-scale, quilt-like tapestry Daffodil power tower season, in which a red, tongue-like scroll emerges from a vertiginous amphitheater. Here, Ruby invokes the Tower card from tarot—a symbol of upheaval, rupture, and radical transformation. Through intricate passages of beaded and marbled silk and pieced velvet, she imbues the work with tenderness and devotion, foregrounding the emotional and collective labor required to endure and move through periods of instability.
